La Source

La Source is a cool, timeless garden created to honour the heritage of this old bastide in the hills behind Nice. Every piece of stone and ironwork has been designed by English Garden to feel as though it has always belonged here, echoing the proportions, colours and spirit of the house.
The potager, with its oeil‑de‑boeuf openings between sections, directly inspired by traditional Provençal masonry, gives the kitchen garden a strong architectural rhythm while keeping it light and open. Together with restrained, drought‑tolerant Mediterranean planting, the result is an authentically Provençal garden that celebrates place, history and craftsmanship as much as outdoor living.
