Domani
Founded in Belgium in 1992, Domani is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality pottery, defined by a passion for craftsmanship, natural materials and timeless design. Every piece is conceived and designed at our Antwerp headquarters, then meticulously crafted in our workshop near the historic Hungarian city of Pécs, where we honour traditional techniques while embracing innovation.
Since 2024, Domani has been part of a newly established Belgian outdoor luxury group alongside Tribù, a leader in high-end outdoor furniture. This partnership strengthens our commitment to excellence while ensuring that Domani retains its unique identity, artisanal expertise and production integrity. As we scale our operations and refine our collections, our focus remains unchanged: to create pottery that enriches spaces – indoors and out – through authenticity, presence and longevity.Melides by Vincent Van Duysen
melides
The Melides collection, a series of planters featuring soft organic shapes, tactile textures and subtle colour tones, marries Van Duysen’s sensorial and sensual expression with Domani’s handmade craftsmanship.
Delicate yet robust, traditional yet contemporary, the Melides collection of planters started out as an idea of a simple shape in Van Duysen’s mind. Working tirelessly to perfect the gently inward sloping curve of the design, Van Duysen created a form that bears references to nature,
and to the organic works of Isamu Noguchi and Ellsworth Kelly. Its exterior, treated as if it were a skin, has been given an eroded, texturised character that mirrors its source of inspiration: Melides, a Portuguese coastal stretch abundant with nature.
Nagori by Studio KO
The Nagori collection, by Studio KO for Domani, draws from the Japanese concept of ‘nagori’, a term rich with the essence of fleeting moments, as captured by poet Ryoko Sekiguchi. This core concept, which conveys the lingering feeling left behind by past seasons, is delicately integrated throughout the collection.
Inspired by a two-fold perspective on time – where one path reflects the linear journey from birth to death and the other celebrates the cyclical nature of seasons and renewal – Studio KO’s work embodies this balance. Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty, the founding duo of Studio KO, articulate this balance as the core of their design philosophy: “Influenced by the dual aspects of time, our works seek to express this delicate equilibrium, engaging with both the circular and the linear. In the Nagori collection, we invite the observer to reflect on the beauty of moments passing and the continuity of life.”
Bridging the ephemeral with the eternal, the collection of planters expresses a sense of lightness and simplicity. Crafted directly from the earth, the texture of these planters is a homage to the raw, untouched beauty of the natural world. Their colours, inspired by the earth, range from deep, fertile browns to the pale shades of sun-bleached soil. Available in three sizes and four colours, the Nagori collection is designed to inspire a seamless convergence with the living world. Each piece becomes a sanctuary in which life can flourish, accentuating the seasonal beauty of growth and decay – the eternal dance of nature. In embracing the imperfect, the Nagori collection is a tribute to the beauty of the fleeting, and the everlasting impact of moments captured in time.
bastia
Designed by Paul Odekerken
Airy and weightless in appearance, BASTIA seems to float – a near-invisible base lifts the form just off the surface so a fine line of light is suggested beneath. The planter’s profile tapers gently to a level rim, and its terracotta surface is softly brushed for a fine tactile grain. Developed with a dense clay body, the planters in the collection are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. In a considered palette of matte finishes, Bastia, designed by visual artist Paul Odekerken, delivers an illusion of lightness.
moya
Designed by Piet Boon
In MOYA, by designer Piet Boon, a banded profile sets the tone – a rounded vessel with a textured upper section and a smooth, weight-bearing base. The vertical texture recalls thatch, giving the clay a fine, fibrous grain that softens light and adds depth. Hand-finished surfaces keep the form calm and assured while the open mouth offers clear planting volume. Practical indoors or out, MOYA brings tactility and balance to terraces and rooms alike.
